UFC Mexico weigh-in results: Brandon Moreno, Lone’er Kavanagh lead perfect slate of weigh-ins

February 27, 2026

Brandon Moreno and Lone’er Kavanagh are on for UFC Mexico, and the rest of the card played their part, too.

At Friday’s official weigh-ins for UFC Mexico, Moreno and Kavanagh both hit the mark for Saturday’s headlining bout, with Moreno coming in at 125.5 (making use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight) and Kavanagh at 125.

Moreno is currently ranked No. 7 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, while Kavanagh steps in short notice for an injured Asu Almabayev with a chance to shake up the charts.

All 26 fighters weighing in for Saturday’s event were on the mark, making this the second straight week a UFC card has had a perfect slate of weigh-ins following several bizarre incidents to start 2026, including Cameron Smotherman fainting after stepping off the scale ahead of UFC 324. Last week, Phil Rowe almost missed weight for the third time in his UFC career, but was on point on a second attempt.
