Conor McGregor isn’t surprised to hear he’s been drug-tested more than any other UFC fighter in 2026.
The former dual-weight champion hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.
Five years later, Conor McGregor is currently serving an 18-month suspension from the sport.
‘Notorious’ hopes to make his long-awaited comeback at the UFC White House card on June 14.
CHANGE MY MIND: Conor McGregor is the UFC’s greatest legend
‘Notorious’ took MMA to the next level at the height of his legendary career.
Conor McGregor shrugs off UFC drug tests
On Friday, the UFC Anti-Doping Test History database was updated.
It showed 597 fighters have been drug tested in 2026, with 771 total samples collected year to date.
54 UFC athletes have been tested twice, but only one man has been subjected to additional doping checks.
Conor McGregor has undergone three drug tests even though he’s banned from competing in the sport.
The Irishman shared UFC drug test data on his X – formerly known as Twitter – account after its release.
“Well, no surprise there,” McGregor wrote in his caption.
“As always, the most tested.”
Why is Conor McGregor serving an 18-month suspension?
In October 2025, Conor McGregor was suspended for 18 months for violating the UFC’s anti-doping policy.
The 37-year-old has never failed a drug test during his 13-year run with MMA’s premier promotion.
McGregor’s ongoing ban is due to the fact that he failed to provide anti-doping officials with accurate whereabouts information on three separate occasions.
The suspension was backdated to the date of his third violation. That means McGregor will be eligible to compete again on March 20, 2026, and his dream of competing at the White House is very much alive.
