Caroline Dubois is the second member of her family to win a world title, and she wants to make even more history starting next month.

The undefeated Olympian picked up WBC gold last year, and has three more champions to beat in order to unify her division. First stop is Terri Harper at London’s Olympia on Easter Sunday April 5, in the headliner of Most Valuable Promotions’ first UK show.

Dubois and Harper have no love lost, and will put on an exciting fight in what will also be MVP’s first show on Sky Sports. Fans can buy tickets to watch the fight, as well as a host of other world title bouts, live in London by going to Ticketmaster.

Jake Paul’s promotion can get Caroline Dubois three of four belts needed for undisputed

Caroline Dubois’ win over Bo Mi Re Shin last March for the WBC title saw her pick up the first belt in her pursuit of undisputed. She now takes on Terri Harper for her WBO belt in the main event of MVP’s London showcase, which would see her halfway to her goal.

With Jake Paul and his business partner Nakisa Bidarian signing up almost all of the top women’s talent in boxing, they can very easily make the majority of fights. Should Dubois win, she’s signed to the same promotional outfit as Stephanie Han, who holds WBA gold.

The only fight that will prove any difficulty at all to make will be IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan, who is signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.

However, there has historically been next to no issue for MVP and Matchroom to work together, with three Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano fights taking place over the past few years. Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua also managed to fight on Netflix in December, overcoming the latter’s DAZN deal.

“We’re bringing back the era where everybody fights everybody and the best fight the best,” Dubois told BloodyElbow in an exclusive chat. “Look, back in the day the best sometimes lost, Sugar Ray Leonard got beat by Roberto Duran.

“Hagler lost to Leonard, Duran lost to all those guys, but you don’t think about that. We see it as the best were fighting the best. So if MVP, Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian can bring back that era then it won’t matter if someone retires undefeated what will matter is that they made the biggest fights happen.

“I feel like MVP, Jake and Nakisa are doing a really good job, everyone is under the same banner and it’s going to be very easy to make the fights happen. They’ll be able to ask the people what fights they want to see, the audience will call for the fights and then they’ll get made.”
