This is the UFC 320 live blog for Abus Magomedov vs. Joe Pyfer, the main card middleweight bout, on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Since a pair of losses to Sean Strickland and Caio Borralho, Magomedov (28-6-1) has bounced back with three consecutive wins to put himself back in range of the rankings. The Russian veteran recently scored a unanimous decision win over Michel Pereira, and a win over Pyfer would re-establish him as one to watch at 185 pounds.
Pyfer (14-3) also finds himself on a win streak, having scored back-to-back wins over one-time interim title challenger Kelvin Gastelum and Marc-Andre Barriault. Known for his explosive knockout power, Pyfer looks to add Magomedov to his highlight reel and rev up the hype train that began when he was signed from Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022.
