well he had a chance to fight for a belt at 154 and turned it down when he could have then had unifications and big fights as a belt holder

Vergil will go to 160 and continue to be avoided by anyone with a belt. The Ring Belt used to be the only one that I considered legit. I do not know if that is still the case. For now I will just continue to trust my own judgement on who the best is in any given weight class. It is weird that a fighter like Vergil doesn’t have
