UFC Qatar video: Myktybek Orolbai sleeps Jack Hermansson with vicious one-punch knockout

November 22, 2025

Myktybek Orolbai gave Jack Hermansson a rude welcome to the welterweight division after he connected with a vicious one-punch knockout to end the fight in the first round at UFC Qatar.

It was a stunning finish after Orolbai pressured Hermansson back towards the cage and then just unloaded with huge right hand that landed directly behind the ear. Hermansson was unconscious before he hit the floor with a thud as Oralbai began his celebration with the fight coming to an end at just 2:46 in the opening round.

“All my fights are exciting,” Orolbai said afterwards. “I am a future champion. I am a humble fighter, cage door closes, I smash.”

After some struggles making the lightweight limit, Orolbai ventured up to 170 pounds where Hermansson was making his debut after spending the majority of his career competing at middleweight. While Hermansson definitely had size on his side, he was not as fast as his opponent and it showed in the exchanges.

Once Orolbai felt comfortable stepping into the pocked to trade with Hermansson, he just mashed down on the gas pedal to start putting pressure on his opponent.

It didn’t take long until Orolbai backed Hermansson up to the cage and he threw the right hand that just blasted the 37-year-old veteran and sent him to the canvas in a heap.

The knockout puts Orolbai on a two-fight win streak with a 4-1 record overall in the UFC while Hermansson suffers a second straight knockout loss as he falls to 1-3 in his past four outings.
