Valter Walker faces his most experienced opponent yet when he returns to the octagon at UFC Seattle.
MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the matchup that Walker (15-1) is set to fight Marcin Tybura (27-10) in a heavyweight bout on March 28 at Climate Pledge Arena. The matchup was first reported by MMA Mania.
Walker is on a roll since suffering his first career loss in April 2024, becoming the first fighter to ever score four consecutive first-round heel hook finishes in promotion history by taking out Junior Tafa, Don’Tale Mayes, Kennedy Nzechukwu and Louie Sutherland in a span of 14 months.
Tybura, ranked No. 14 on the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, looks to get back on track after a quick knockout defeat to Ante Delija in his most recent bout. The loss snapped a winning streak over previously unbeaten Jhonata Diniz and Mick Parkin and dropped Tybura’s promotional record to 14-9.
The UFC is yet to announce the headlining attraction for UFC Seattle. Previously confirmed for the lineup is a bout between former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and Maycee Barber.
