Blanchfield (12-3) came up short in her most recent fight to Erin Blanchfield at UFC 322 in November. Prior to this setback, fans saw Cortez defeat Viviane Araujo by unanimous decision at UFC 317 in June.
To date, the Arizona native holds victories over notable names such as Jasmine Jasudavicius, Melossa Gatto, Justine Kish, and Mariya Agapova.
