Like its big sister, the UFC, UFC BJJ is back.
On Friday, UFC BJJ announced its first card for 2026, UFC BJJ 5, headlined by a bantamweight title bout between champion Mikey Musumeci and Shay Montague, and takes place on Feb. 12.
Musumeci is the face of UFC BJJ, headlining the promotion’s first and third events. A four-time IBJJF world champion in the gi, Musumeci is also a one-time no-gi world champion and the former ONE flyweight submission grappling champion. Montague is the 2025 IBJJF no-gi world champion, with numerous other accomplishments below the black belt level.
In the co-main event, middleweight champion Ronaldo Junior defends his title against Tarik Hopstock. Junior is the 2023 IBJJF world no-gi champion and won the title by defeating William Tackett at UFC BJJ 4 in December. Hopstock is a 2025 IBJJF world no-gi champion and will be making his promotional debut.
Also on the card, Andy Murasaki takes on Andy Varela, Taylor Hishaw faces Rebecca Lima, Landon Elmore battles Rerisson Gabriel, Jalen Fonacier takes on Bebeto Oliveira, and Mona Bailey faces Carol Brunacio.
