Top-ranked UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan is staying busy while awaiting his next fight with a return to the wrestling mats at RAF 6.
Following a dominant win over four-time All-American Lance Palmer at RAF 5, Tsarukyan now faces Georgio Poullas on Feb. 28 with the event taking place at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Ariz.
While Palmer was a very accomplished wrestler in his day, he hadn’t competed in wrestling in over a decade before RAF launched but this time Tsarukyan is getting a very active opponent in his next match.
Poullas is a former Ohio state high school wrestling champion before moving onto college at both Cleveland State University and Rider University. More recently, Poullas launched a viral challenge where he would wager $1,000 for anybody capable of taking him down in a wrestling match.
He most recently competed at RAF 5 where he thumped Mugzy with a technical fall by an 11-1 score.
On that same card, Tsarukyan took out Palmer in similar fashion with a 10-0 shutout to also earn a technical fall victory.
Now Poullas and Tsarukyan are set to clash at RAF 6 in February with former two-division UFC champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo headlining the event in a match against UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.
RAF 6 goes down Feb. 28 with the event airing live on FOX Nation.
