UFC Vegas 113 video: Nikolay Veretennikov crushes Niko Price with standing knockout

February 8, 2026

Nikolay Veretennikov didn’t hesitate when it came time to put away a longtime veteran.

In a preliminary welterweight bout at UFC Vegas 113 on Saturday, Veretennikov bludgeoned Price with a nasty combination of strikes to knock Price out on his feet and force referee Chris Tognoni to step in for the save.

Watch the explosive finish below.

Veretennikov trapped Price against the fence and landed a huge right that proved to be the beginning of the end as he followed with a hard knee and on-point punches as Price’s arms and legs went limp. When it was clear that Price was out on his feet, the bout was officially stopped at the 1:42 mark of the opening round.

This was a big win for Veretennikov (14-7), who broke out of a 1-3 slump with his first knockout in almost two years. He is now 2-3 in his UFC run.

Price (16-10, 2 NC) suffered his third straight loss and fifth in his past six. In four of those losses, Price failed to make it to the final bell. This was also the sixth time in the 36-year-old’s pro career that he has lost by knockout.
