Danny Sabatello will headline RIZIN LANDMARK 13 for his first defense of the bantamweight title on April 11, taking on Joji Goto at the Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan.
RIZIN announced the news on Friday, also confirming the return of former Bellator champion Patricky Pitbull to Japan and the promotional debut of James Gallagher.
Bellator veteran Sabatello (17-4-1) parted ways with PFL in 2024 and went on to win three in a row under the RIZIN banner this past year, dethroning Naoki Inoue via split decision on the final card of 2025.
Goto (20-8-1) earned a shot at the belt after going 5-0 in the RIZIN ring, most recently a split decision over Jose Torres on the same Dec. 30 show.
In the lightweight division, Pitbull (25-15) will battle Yoshinori Horie (14-6). A record holder for most knockouts in Bellator history, the Brazilian is in desperate need of a win after losing his past four in a row in Bellator, PFL and RIZIN. Horie last fought in September, losing a RIZIN title bout to Roberto Satoshi.
Ireland’s Gallagher (13-3) requested his release from PFL after the company purchased Bellator and returned to action in June 2025 to beat Fabricio Soares via second-round submission in Dubai. Kazumasa Majima (18-6), his first opponent in Japan, is a veteran of nine appearances in RIZIN and only one bout ending via decision.
