Arman Tsarukyan warned about repeating headbutt or other antics by RAF 6 rival Georgio Poullas

Before Henry Cejudo faces Urijah Faber in the main event, Tsarukyan will look to make it two wins from two under the new RAF banner, as he continues to stay active away from the Octagon.

Tsarukyan was controversially snubbed by the UFC for a lightweight title shot, with Dana White suggesting factors such as his altercation with a fan at UFC 300 and weigh-in headbutt to Dan Hooker in Qatar played a role in the decision.

Giorgio Poullas will ‘play dirty’ with Arman Tsarukyan if the UFC star initiates

The Armenian’s antics have crossed over to the grappling realm, too, and Poullas is ready to act if it happens again.

Tsarukyan’s headbutt against Hooker was not the UFC star’s final controversial moment of 2025. He also caused a stir by throwing an illegal knee to the body of Mehdi Baydulaev during their grappling match at ACBJJ 20.

Whether it’s pre-match or on the mats, Poullas knows what he will do if the UFC lightweight repeats some of his antics.

“I got a lot of comments, people saying stuff (about) that,” Poullas told Parry Punch.

“This is what I’ll say: if he gets chippy with me, I’m gonna hand it right back to him. I don’t play that s—.

“If he wants to slap me, I’mma punch him in the face,” he continued. “I don’t take s— from nobody.

“If he wants to start playing dirty, man, I’ll play dirty right back.”

Arman Tsarukyan’s UFC future MUST be sorted out

While Tsarukyan seems to be enjoying his exploits on the grappling mats, it is safe to say that the UFC lightweight title remains his top goal in combat sports.

And quite frankly, the division itself needs a resolution regarding his status in order to move forward.

The top contender marked a cloud over the UFC 324 main event, as fans watched two men who were not the most deserving of the opportunity battle for the interim gold.

More worryingly, the implication of Justin Gaethje’s win over Paddy Pimblett — a unification fight with Ilia Topuria — and calls from both Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway to challenge the winner after their fight at UFC 326 means Tsarukyan looks to be firmly out in the cold.

The 155-pound division is one of the most stacked in the promotion, but it has a Tsarukyan-sized problem that won’t go away until fans and most importantly the fighter himself have clarity.
