Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions are coming after the powers behind Zuffa Boxing.
Eddie Hearn made fun of Dana White’s relationship with Turki Alahshikh that has culminated in their new boxing promotion.
The partnership between TKO Group and Saudi Arabia’s SELA has already created a lot of conversation due to their plans for the future and some of their targeted signings.
White may have joked about how easy it’s been to compete with his boxing rivals, but one of them is now threatening a huge legal battle.
Queensbury believes that they should have also been involved in the creation of Zuffa Boxing and by being excluded from this, it’s cost them a lot in lost income.

Frank Warren threatening legal action due to TKO and SELA’s Zuffa Boxing partnership
The Telegraph reported on February 24 that British boxing promoter Frank Warren’s Queensbury is preparing to pursue legal action against TKO and SELA.
Letters have reportedly already been sent to both parties, detailing exactly what they intend to do and why, and threatening that they will take this to the High Court if it isn’t dealt with.
Queensbury has made the case that they signed an exclusive agreement with SELA in 2023 that saw them put on several big fights together, including Tyson Fury’s controversial win over Francis Ngannou.
This relationship, which led to some memorable nights for boxing fans, then resulted in the promotion signing another contract with TKO that gave them access to Queensbury’s contract with SELA.
They’re arguing that by TKO and SELA partnering to create Zuffa Boxing, they’ve gone against these previous contracts by excluding them from it and doing deals behind their backs, which they claim has resulted in them losing $1 billion in income.
We’ve already seen clear examples of Dana White’s boxing promotion not having an issue with stepping on rival promoters’ toes, with this being another case of opposition to their plans.

It isn’t just rival promoters that have an issue with the way Zuffa Boxing is doing business
It’s clear to see that some of the things that have made the TKO-owned UFC and WWE so dominant in their respective fields are being implemented in the early days of Zuffa Boxing.
The issue with this is that some of the athletes who were already under the TKO banner aren’t happy with how some of the new additions are being treated compared to them.
Many questioned whether Zuffa Boxing’s huge signing of Conor Benn would lead to members of the UFC roster complaining due to the huge gap in what they’re being paid.
Sure enough, Michael ‘Venom’ Page spoke out about these issues when talking about the new pay structure that the UFC implemented at the start of the year.
