Aaron Pico will make his second appearance in the Octagon at UFC 327.

The former Bellator standout hasn’t fought since making his UFC debut in August 2025.

It ended in disaster as Lerone Murphy left him out cold with a spinning back elbow that was heralded by many as the best knockout of the year.

What is Lerone Murphy’s 9-fight winning streak missing to convince the UFC he deserves a shot at Alexander Volkanovski?

Aaron Pico to face Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire

Dana White dropped a ton of fight news during an Instagram Live session on Friday evening.

Aaron Pico‘s return to action was confirmed for UFC 327 in Miami, Florida, on April 11.

The 29-year-old Californian will square off against Patricio Freire in a three-round featherweight fight.

‘Pitbull’ is a former Bellator double champion. Before the promotion’s merger with PFL, Scott Coker seemed to be building toward an eventual showdown between Freire and Pico.

Now, the 145lb contenders will finally fight on one of the most stacked UFC cards of the year so far.
