19-year-old prospect Adrian Lee is ready to return to action and looking to get back in the win column after suffering the first loss of his career.
The younger brother of ONE champion Christian Lee and former ONE champion Angela Lee was 3-0 in his career when he ran into noted grappling ace Tye Ruoloto. The back-and-forth fight ended with Ruotolo securing a second-round rear naked choke submission to get the win and now Lee attempts to right that wrong in his next fight.
He’s scheduled to face Shozo Isojima as part of the upcoming ONE Fight Night 40 on Prime Video with the card taking place inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Feb. 13.
The fight is actually being booked for a second time after these two were scheduled to meet back in March but Isojima was forced off the card. Since then, Isojima picked up a win over Nicolas Vigna and then he also suffered a rear-naked choke submission loss to Ruotolo in November.
Both Lee and Isojima are now trying to avoid a second loss in a row when they clash at ONE Fight Night 40 in February.
The main event for the card features the ONE women’s strawweight kickboxing title going up for grabs as Jackie Buntan takes on Stella Hemetsberger in a rematch.
Their first encounter took place under Muay Thai rules with Hemetsberger securing a unanimous decision victory. Now they meet again in kickboxing with Buntan seeking revenge agains Hemetsberger in the rematch.
