Anthony Joshua’s vicious sixth-round knockout over Jake Paul was watched by 33 million people live on Netflix in the world, Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions announced Tuesday.
The number is a big drop from Paul’s boxing clash with the legendary Mike Tyson in 2024, where 60 million households tuned in on the live broadcast of that event on Netflix. MVP announced that 600,000 viewers watched Joshua’s win over Paul in bars, restaurants, casinos and other commercial venues.
According to the promotion, the one-sided boxing match was a success on Netflix’s social media channels around the globe, generating 1.25 billion impressions and trending not only in the United States but also United Kingdom and Brazil.

“We’re going to heal the broken jaw,” Paul said immediately after the match. “Come back and fight people my weight. I’m going to take a little break. I’m going to take some time off.”
