LAS VEGAS — UFC bantamweight Ricky Turcios joins MMA Fighting’s José Youngs to discuss everything from his love for Dragon Ball Z, Full Metal Alchemist, anime, and more.
The winner of Season 29 of The Ultimate Fighter, Turcios (12-5) was scheduled to face Cameron Smotherman at UFC 324 in January. However, a horrifying incident during weigh-ins that saw Smotherman collapse on stage after stepping off the scale led to the bout being scrapped. Prior to that booking, Turucios came up short against Bernardo Sopaj and Raul Rosas Jr.
Turcios now moves on to a new booking as he squares off with Alberto Montes at UFC 326 this Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
