Arman Tsarukyan had some choice words for Georgio Poullas after their altercation at RAF Wrestling, and they weren’t “I’m sorry”.

The number one contender in the UFC lightweight division has been staying active with a series of striking-free matches across various promotions and disciplines as he awaits his next official fight offer from the promotion.

Can Arman Tsarukyan be trusted with a UFC title shot?

Between punching a fan at UFC 300, his Dan Hooker headbutt and now the RAF brawl, is Arman Tsarukyan too much of a loose canon for the UFC title?

But he ended up throwing a few punches tonight at RAF06 when his wrestling match with Poullas got a little too heated and he ended up showing his rival just why he is such a highly-ranked fighter. And after the fact, he does not seem at all contrite about what happened.

Arman Tsarukyan speaks out for the first time after RAF06 brawl

Very shortly after everything went down between Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas, the UFC star’s Instagram page collaborated on a post with Full Violence. The video showed Poullas bragging that he couldn’t be taken down, before being spliced with a clip of Tsarukyan doing just that.

The legitimacy of the takedown is disputed and he wasn’t scored as having landed it during the match even though it was a clear move. Instead of receiving the two points he would have got for a takedown, he instead got one for pushing his opponent out of bounds.

Tsarukyan and Full Violence captioned the post by simply writing that it was “Another side quest complete.” However, his first actual statement came on X, when the lightweight wrote: “F— around and find out.”

Georgio Poullas was bloodied in Arman Tsarukyan incident

While it remains to be seen how legitimate Poullas’ post-match video was where he appeared to be speaking from an ambulance, the wrestling standout was clearly hurt in the brawl. Photos shared from backstage by the account Grappling Reels clearly showed him bleeding from the nose.

In the ambulance video, which was the second of his responses after a video with his family where he seemed perfectly fine in a locker room, Poullas said: “Alright I want to send a message to all my fans and supporters.

How do you think a grappling match between Dustin Poirier and Arman Tsarukyan would play out? 🤼

“I want to thank you guys, I hope you guys got some enjoyment out of the match tonight. Unfortunately I was jumped.

“But as you guys saw, my 62-year-old dad and both my brothers came to my rescue. That’s the way we were brought up to fight for each other no matter what. We were outnumbered by like 12 Armenians and they came out there running, fighting with me, fighting for me.

“So that’s f—ing love, that’s how we were raised. To Arman, you’re a little b—- and by the way if you watch the match I’m the only one that got the takedown. He got a push out and a couple of penalty points, I’m still the champ baby.”
