“He impressed me a lot because no one would want to fight me, you see them change their mind but it doesn’t work with this guy,” Makhmudov said. “I was surprised, for 12 rounds, you saw it. Marc [Ramsay, my trainer] told me he’s got balls but not technique, just box and you’ll stop him in six rounds. I thought okay, I’ll stop him in the first round but I couldn’t even do it over 12, that’s why I’m really impressed. I think he’s got an iron chin, it’s not normal.”
