On a scale of 1-10 of bad stoppages that was a 6 – there’s been worse but it was pretty bad – that said, the ref has to take into account Parker’s health and safety and with 6 seconds to go in the round, and with Parker on the ropes and not answering, just 2/3 more blows could see Parker in hospital. It might be the case that

Superhuman performance by Fabio. He doesn’t seem to have A skills, A footwork, A workload, and A whatever. He does, however, have a great beard and some heavy shots he throws. I wish that takes you to the king of the world status, but he only has that one big shot chance with Usyk.

Parker had nothing left.
As much as I would’ve loved to see him on the floor again, unconscious and twitching, he had nothing left.
He didn’t throw back.
The ref saw, and was left without a choice. He saw and Joseph saw what was happening.
The prior round Fabio almost had him out too.
Round 2, the ref saved him too.
