What did Conor McGregor say to Alexander Volkanovski?

On Saturday, X – formerly known as Twitter – featured a post about Alexander Volkanovski’s comments.

It read: “Alex Volkanovski says you can’t have Conor McGregor on the White House card and not have him headline. ‘It wouldn’t make sense.’”

The former dual-weight champion retweeted the post and added a three-word reply to Volkanovski.

“Thanks, lil bro,” McGregor wrote.

Fans subsequently flooded his comment section to accuse him of disrespecting ‘The Great’.

“He’d cook you and show you who ‘lil bro’ is,” one fan said. While another added: “‘Lil bro’ and he’s better at 37 than you ever were.

“Why you disrespecting the legend Volk for giving you props – he’d handle you with ease in the cage wuss,” a third person wrote.

“Bro Volk would beat your ass. Who do you think you are? Ya absolute NOBODY,” someone else tweeted.

“Bro saying lil bro like he wouldn’t get his head stomped in by Alex hahaha,” another X user commented.

“Volk would smoke Conor, though,” a sixth fan predicted.

Conor McGregor comeback update

Conor McGregor is not expected to make his comeback at the UFC White House event on June 14

Ariel Helwani claims he is more likely to fight during International Fight Week, which takes place in Las Vegas a month later.

“It doesn’t look like it’s gonna be Conor on the White House card,” the veteran MMA reporter said on Saturday.

“They have an International Fight Week card scheduled for July 11 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.

“There’s a greater chance of him fighting on that card than on the White House card because there is no money to be made.

“In fact, they keep touting the fact that there is money to be lost from the White House event.

“It’s more likely that will happen on July 11 as opposed to June 14.”
