Jiri Prochazka has provided a typical Prochazka reaction after his UFC 327 title fight against Carlos Ulberg was announced.

This past October, Jiri Prochazka returned to the UFC Octagon for a clash against Khalil Rountree Jr, looking to score back-to-back wins for the first time since 2022.

And after scoring a third round knockout win, which earned him Comeback of the Year, the former champion was hopeful that he earned a trilogy against Alex Pereira.

Despite that, it was announced this past Friday by UFC boss Dana White, that Pereira has vacated his 205lb title, leaving a vacant title fight set to take place in the UFC 327 main event.

Does Jiri Prochazka become two-time champion or is it Carlos Ulberg’s time as Pereira drops the belt?

Prochazka holds back emotion in first reaction to UFC 327 title fight

Although ‘The Last Samurai’ was hopeful of a clash against ‘Poatan’ again, he always made it clear that it was about reclaiming the UFC title as opposed to getting revenge over the Brazilian.

And in his first reaction since the news was announced by the UFC boss, Prochazka held back his emotions as he sent a message to his fans.

“Alright, here we are, the moment I’ve been praying for, fighting for,” Prochazka began in a video on his Instagram.

“More than ever, let’s go for it. For the whole Czech Republic, let’s go for it. Thank you for your support. Let’s go for the title. Let’s go for the hunt. Let’s go hunt Ulberg. Thank you for your support,” he continued.

Carlos Ulberg is currently on a nine-fight winning streak with wins over the likes of Dominick Reyes, Jan Blachowicz and Volkan Oezdemir to earn his title shot.

Who else will fight at UFC 327?

The vacant light heavyweight title fight won’t be the only title fight fans will look forward to in the premier promotion’s return to the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Joshua Van will defend his flyweight strap against Tatsuro Taira in the co-main event, in a big fight for the division.

Here are the 13 fights that have been confirmed for the UFC 327 event on April 11.
