Logan Paul has been cleared from a class action lawsuit filed against the social influencer and part-time boxer after he got involved with a cryptocurrency game that never got off the ground, and he was accused of defrauding investors in the failed project.

On Wednesday, Judge Alan Albright from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas Waco Division, officially signed off on Paul’s motion to dismiss on all counts.

“It is further ordered that Defendant Logan Paul’s Motion to Dismiss is hereby granted as to all counts and all 27 of Plaintiffs’ claims be dismissed,” the judge wrote in his ruling.

CryptoZoo was the program that Paul initially announced plans to launch the game where users could buy and hatch “egg NFTs,” which would then reveal an animal that players could collect. Paul initially pitched CryptoZoo as a “game that earns you money,” but an online investigation revealed numerous issues with the program, which eventually led to a lawsuit being filed in Federal court in Texas.

The 30-year-old Ohio native eventually filed a lawsuit of his own, going after his former business partners, who were involved in the cryptocurrency game, whom he blamed for the myriad of issues surrounding the CryptoZoo launch.

The lawsuit was filed in Texas with Paul named as the plaintiff against defendants Eduardo Ibanez and Jake Greenbaum, calling them both “con artists” who “lied about their résumés, knowledge, experience, and intentions.” The lawsuit accuses Ibanez and Greenbaum of “fraud and deceit” and states that Paul never made any profit off the game.

As for the class action lawsuit, a magistrate judge initially ruled that the plaintiffs in the case failed to present evidence that directly linked Paul to the losses suffered from the game. Now the judge from the U.S. District Court has backed up that decision by granting Paul’s motion to dismiss.

Paul celebrated with a brief post on Instagram saying “case dismissed” as he put the years-long saga behind him.
