Nate Diaz announces he’s ‘accepted’ Jake Paul rematch

November 5, 2025

Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz 2 appears to be a go.

On Tuesday evening, Diaz sent out an Instagram post with the caption, ‘Fight accepted. You’re dead’ along with a picture from his first boxing match with Paul from August 2023. Paul defeated Diaz by unanimous decision.

Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is yet to make an official announcement for who Paul is set to fight next following the collapse of a Nov. 14 matchup with lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis. Davis, who has a history of domestic violence charges, is once again facing allegations of violence with an ex-girlfriend accusing him of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Diaz, a veteran of 27 UFC bouts, scored his first boxing win against fellow MMA veteran Jorge Masvidal in July 2024 to improve to 1-1. In a rematch of their inaugural “BMF” title bout at UFC 244, Diaz avenged a loss to Masvidal by winning a majority decision. His pro boxing record stands at 1-1.
