The criminal charges follow a civil suit filed by Rossel which details an alleged incident where, in the early morning hours, Davis is accused of attacking Rossel in a back room where there were no cameras present, grabbing her by the back of her head, pulling her with one hand and holding her throat with the other hand. Rossel said that Davis then dragged her through a stairwell and through a back exit, where she was physically assaulted in the parking lot.
