There were question marks over whether Denny, now 34, would continue in the sport after losing the EBU belt to Hamzah Sheeraz in 2024, but he has since returned with two wins. The first over Evis Ahorgah in April, followed by a runout victory over Grant Dennis in December. Denny, 21-3-3 (1 KO), will now have the chance to win British middleweight strap in March.
