A matchup over 10 years in the making goes down this Saturday when Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira meet again in the UFC 326 main event.
The first time the future legends met, both were rising fast up the featherweight rankings and they crossed paths in the main event of UFC Saskatoon in August 2015. Unfortunately, the bout lasted less than two minutes due to Oliveira suffering a neck injury. Holloway and Oliveira would go on to achieve massive success, with Holloway becoming champion at 145 pounds and Oliveira later claiming a 155-pound title.
Now, they clash as lightweights with Holloway’s “BMF” belt up for grabs and possibly a shot at Ilia Topuria’s undisputed title on the line.
