Guilherme Pat will return to the octagon to face Thomas Petersen on the UFC Vegas 117 card at the Meta APEX on April 4, multiple people with knowledge of the booking confirmed to MMA Fighting.
The UFC has yet to reveal which bout will serve as the main event.
Pat (6-0) made his UFC debut in December with a decision win over Allen Frye, finally joining the promotion after multiple visa issues forced the cancellation of opportunities on Dana White’s Contender Series.
“Kong” scored finishes in four of his six professional MMA wins, all by knockout.
Petersen (10-4) will attempt to get back on track after losing by knockout to Vitor Petrino at UFC Rio in October 2025.
A former LFA heavyweight champion, ”The Train” lost only one of eight bouts before first entering the DWCS octagon in mid-2023, a stoppage defeat to future top MMA contender Waldo Cortes-Acosta, but has since gone 2-3 under the UFC banner.
